Day 3: Downtown Disney

We headed out from the hotel around 11am, and we decided to visit Downtown Disney for lunch and to get O’s Mickey ears embroidered!  They had a T-Rex restaurant which we had heard was awesome, but also can be a little much for the toddler crowd.  O seemed really interested though so in we headed!

The meteor shower section (we sat here) with Ice Cave (now blue) in background.  every 20 minutes, the lights would dim and the ceiling would turn into a huge meteor shower and all the animatronics would go crazy- moving and shrieking!  It was intense.  Here is a short video:

Dad said Owen was pointing out all the fans he could see from the carousel.  Here is some video from his ride:

Here is O’s hat getting embroidered.  This little boy in front of me was also named Owen and thought it was his hat getting done.  He was so excited, and then subsequently disappointed when I took it.

Now it’s off to the beach!

Day 3: Last swim and splash

After visiting TowMater for the last time, we headed to the pool and splashpad.  They had changed the “routine” the fountains followed to squirt, and Owen was not pleased.  After questioning me for awhile as to why it wasn’t the same as last night, he eventually just memorized the new one.

Day 3: Our Last Morning in Disney

We woke up our last day wishing we had planned to stay a little longer.  After breakfast, we headed back to the Cars section to get a better look at it in the day time.
