Week in Review: 3/25-3/13

Daily Tidbits from the Week:
- Owen is very interested in food, and we always tell him what he is getting from certain foods: protein, vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates. So now he loves to tell us! He also learned from Easter that candy is a sometimes food! haha He also asks if foods have chemicals in them because we mentioned that was why we don’t eat certain things.

Tropical Bath

Owen loved the inflatable palm tree he got for Easter! SO much so it went into his bath that night! He also got to try out his shaving kit from the Easter Bunny!

He’s so funny- he wouldn’t shave without the mirror!

Egg Dyeing Fun!

We did some pretty simple egg dyeing this year—a spinner and some good ol’ fashioned color cups! Owen had a good time and again Pinterest came to the rescue with the idea to use whisks for holding eggs!

Spoiled Rotten

Owen got tons of awesome Easter presents from his grandparents and aunts and uncles! Here are a few pics of him opening all the presents!

Thank you Mimi and Grumpy for the Easter basket with the Velveteen rabbit, alphabet chart, clothes, books, airplanes, Cat in the Hat pointer, and other goodies!

Big brother gear for the fall!!

Thank you Aunt Staci and Uncle Sam for the “where the Wild Things Are” basket! I LOVE my palm tree and that book is my new favorite! I quote it ALL day long!!

Happy Easter!!

We woke up this morning and saw the Easter Bunny had left magical glittery footprints behind in our house and decorated our playroom! He had hidden eggs all around the playroom and checked to make sure Owen was asleep. Owen woke us up at 6am by climbing into bed with an egg he had already found (and it was one of the hardest hidden, which begs the question how long he was up before us)!
