Meet Fluffy!

 

After swimming at the hotel with Dad, Mimi and Grumpy took Owen to Build-A-Bear as one of his Christmas presents, and from the looks of it, he had a BLAST! 

Mimi said she held up animal after animal, but once she held up the cat, there was no changing his mind. 

 

He had to rub the heart to give it magic.

 

Owen loved that he got to turn on the stuffing machine and bathe his cat!

Then Mimi suggested Owen pick out some clothes for Fluffy!  You can see Fluffy is already wearing Mickey undies Owen picked out (Owen wears Mickey undies too)!

 

Then it was time to officially name Fluffy!

When he came home, he was so excited to show Margot and I!

 

Fluffy has gone on several adventures with us since he arrival which you’ll see in upcoming posts!  Fluffy is also now a girl cat, but that switches day to day

Test Tubes and Johnny Jumpers

 

Aunt Staci got Owen a science kit for Christmas, and he’s been having fun just playing with the test tubes and pipettes!

Then we broke out the old Johnny Jump Up for Margot!  Owen has claimed the mat as his dance pad, and he makes songs for him and Margot to dance to.

She is happy as a clam in this thing and loves being able to sit upright and move!

Mimi and Grumpy came to celebrate the new year with us, and we had so much fun!

Building was on the agenda, of course

 

We opened Christmas presents too!

Margot got a new baby doll!  She likes to eat it!

And laugh at it

 

Owen got an Elf microphone from Uncle Chad and Aunt Jamie, but no one was allowed to turn it on or use it except him.

 

Mimi actually got Owen to sit by Margot and hold hands!  I haven’t seen this since

 

We opened more presents the next night!  This indoor sand box was one of the coolest!  [Aside from Fluffy (post to come).]

 

Owen made Mimi a mister fan.

Then we played with blocks

Their last day we just hung around the house and played!
