Just a few extra pictures this week.
O had a major victory on Saturday—he finally conquered his fear of riding the rollercoaster!

Aunt Staci was able to coax him into riding it while she was babysitting. By the time we got home, he was doing it while she stood next to it. Then he would do it alone if I caught him at the bottom. Within the hour, he was doing it completely alone while holding Dexter’s duck.
Big day for him!
We also went to a fun park by Aunt Staci’s house, and O started climbing some of the more tricky ladders all by himself! He was so proud and would cheer when he got to the top!

We had lots of swinging time.

And went on a walk to check out the creek!

Daily Tidbits from the Week
O loves to workout with me when I do exercise videos. He’s actually getting pretty good at following along too. He loves squats and shoulder presses! The funniest is when he does yoga though. We’re trying to get it on video soon hopefully.
O is very focused on reading right now. He loves to point at words in his books and “read” as he recites what he remembers. He loves saying his ABC’s too. We’re trying to focus more on what sounds the letter makes rather than the name of the letter, and he is getting pretty good. He knows the sounds for a, b, c, d, g, p, q, r, s , t, and z and is starting to name words that begin with those sounds (we play a game similar to I Spy doing this). He is also really into rhyming word families. Today he told me he likes the “at” family. I think his obsession with the PBS show SuperWhy is mostly responsible :)
