Sending lots of love to everyone this Valentine’s Day!!
XOXO, Owen
Busy busy week! Here are some pictures from Pump It Up, Kindermusik, and another picnic with Dad!

Climbing to the slide.
Playing with hula hoops at Kindermusik.
Had another fun picnic lunch after Kindermusik with Dad. They decided to do some exercises too.

See it’s fun!
His unique way of getting off.
He asked us to teach him to do this. We’re not sure what it’s for!
Our best guess!
Doing sit-ups
Running to the balance beams.
Tidbits from the Week:
Owen is in a very defiant/independent phase at the moment. He has realized he doesn’t have to stay in his room. We tried very hard to let him learn to stay in on his own and ignore him, but we had to put up a babygate so we could all get some sleep (which he hates). He currently is working to stay in his room after we say goodnight (he gets a sticker), and when he can, we’ll take down the babygate (he has 1/6 he needs to fill in his chart). Other fun things include: standing on the kitchen table (who knew he’d get ideas from Dexter), quitting napping, and biting! Ahh to be two years old; he lives 100% in the moment. On a positive note, he will have quiet time alone, but I sure miss the 2-3 hour naps!
We headed to the zoo again this week and stopped to watch the sea lion show among other activities. The new baby Teva was out, but I’m not sure you can see her in pictures.
Decorated so cute for Valentine’s Day!
Grizzly bear waterfall… a common stopping point for us.
Up close and personal during the show.
Rubbing Buddha for good luck.
“Oh hey Mom… look what I found!” (These are Owen’s busy bags for restaurants, long waits, etc… he apparently found them in the garage while I was cleaning out the car. He is not allowed to play with them normally. This is what I walked in on.)
“A lock!”
“A roller and playdough!”
Not pictured is us cleaning up!
