Pumpkin Carving!

 

We carved one of our pumpkins tonight!  Owen was mostly interested in lighting a candle, not the actual carving part.  We learned a new trick where you cut a hole in the BOTTOM of the pumpkin instead of the top, and it made it SO much easier to clean the pumpkin out (and put a candle in)!

Owen was supposed to be scraping the pumpkin out, but he did not like how it felt and refused to do it

So we tried to get him to use the scoop, but that was “too messy” too.  This boy just does not like squishy!

So Dad did it!

Margot ate and watched O and Dad!

All carved and lit!

He used a battery operated tea light so he could turn it on and off repeatedly.

Pumpkin Patch at Tom’s Farm

 

We headed to the pumpkin patch today for some fall fun.  Here are the kiddos all dressed to go!

Then Owen found the farm cats and named them:  Martian (white) and Martian 2 (orange)

 

Time to ride the hayride to the pumpkin patch!

And some of Miss M on the ride home to prove she was actually there with us!
