New Swings for Everyone!

We did a little rearranging in the backyard, and added some new swinging equipment!

Owen now gets to “swing like a monkey” and Margot has her own spot too!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Well, we didn’t catch a leprechaun, but he played a LOT of tricks on us!  He got into the paint Owen was using and wrote a letter, and then tracked his footprints all over the house!  He peed in Owen’s toilet and turned the water green.  AND he put St. Patrick’s Day tattoos all over Mom’s legs and Dad’s arms and stomach!  Fortunately he left Owen a little chocolate gold and a leprechaun flute!

Here’s some video from that morning when Owen woke up

Leprechaun Trap

Owen built a leprechaun trap to try and catch a leprechaun on St. Patrick’s Day.  We painted the box green and added stickers from Mimi’s gift.  Then Owen wanted to paint a rainbow for it.

In the meanwhile, dad was making pizza, and we got a cute video of Owen talking about catching a leprechaun.

Later after bath time, we added jewels to bedazzle the box and lure in the leprechaun…

And added gold coins to try and trick the leprechaun

Dad found us some sticks to prop it open.DSC_0466

Then O chose to put it by the fireplace (I think he was thinking of Santa) and sat in it for some reason!

All ready to go!

Do you think we caught one?  It was a pretty good looking trap!
