Aunt Staci Surprises Us with a Visit!

 

Aunt Staci surprised us by driving down the day after Christmas, and we were so excited!  Owen had been staring at his present from Aunt Staci for about a week, so immediately wanted to open it as soon as she arrived!

   

 

Look at the smile on this boys face.  A REAL ADULT SNO CONE machine!!  It took everything we had to get him to wait until breakfast to have a sno cone since it was already bedtime. 

 

 

The next morning we made breakfast, and then all walked to Starbucks!

 

Then it was sno cone time!

 

We took some of our Christmas toys outside to play! 

Owen stole Margot’s doll Lulu for a ride, so I stole Owen’s bike and helmet!

 

Later after the kids went to bed, we broke out some Monopoly Jr. and drank wine.  Keepin it classy :)  It’s a really fun version of Monopoly that only lasts like 15 minutes.  It’s awesome.  Thanks Katie for giving us a game we can play without Owen too, haha!!

Coming down the steps Christmas morning… it’s only dark at first.  I love how he says “Oh… My… Golly” when he gets to the bottom of the steps.

 

The next few are the kids opening presents.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Owen got this cool wand that tells you to dance like different animals!  We had a blast playing- especially Dad

Margot opened her present from Owen!  An Aquadoodle!


Owen opened another stocking stuffer… he was like “Santa got me underwear?!”


We skyped with Nona and Papa while we ate breakfast!  Owen opened his cool new remote control dinosaur!

Mimi and Grumpy came and Owen immediately wanted them to open their presents

The kids got back to stockings and opened Aquabots!!

Margot thinks these fish are so funny!  She pulls off their tails and tries to get them to wiggle out of water. Owen was diggin the new 2.0 version with lights. 



After breakfast and getting dressed, Owen helped bring in more presents!
