Who knew Northeast Ohio would be a good place to grow grapes, but it is (as long as they don’t have winters like last year). Our good friends Joe and Devin came up to visit from Columbus, and we headed to Ferrante Vineyard for lunch and a winery tour.
Bad lighting, but here’s the gang.
Dancing in the grass to the live version of Africa (it was not Toto playing).
Waiting by the faux fireplace for our wine tour. Owen found this and turned it on and off for everyone. He is blurry because he is busy explaining how it works.
Devin and Joe with Margot.
Time for the tour
These were the only barrels they’d let us see… LAME!
Ryan is REALLY into fermentation.
Owen is not.
Mimi and Grumpy like packaging.
Owen does not.
The bottling room… yup just an empty room that we don’t get to see in action.
No samples. Boo.
This was our wine tour of the (self-proclaimed) “Napa Valley of the East”. Haters gonna hate.
We did have a wonderful lunch and visit with Joe and Devin though!
