We decided we wanted to tackle one of our Memphis Bucket List. We headed downtown to see the Peabody Ducks and visit Beale Street. I of course forgot the SD card to my camera and had to use my cellphone for all the pictures.
Here my two acrobats getting ready to head out!!
Owen and I had to jump out of the car and race across several blocks to make it in time to see the ducks get off the elevator.
Dad and Margot parked and caught up with us.
Then we headed up to the top floor Duck Mansion
Owen said “My eyes are too sensitive to the sun” so he took my glasses.
We had this gorgeous view and Owen said “Look at all the air conditioners!!”
We walked down the street to the Kooky Canuck for lunch. We figured it’ll be loud there and not too fancy.
Yeah, we were like a circus in there (see the stress on Dad’s face). We were pretty much walking both of them around the whole time, Margot knocked my iced tea everywhere, and she threw everything on the floor (we’re going to call her Miss Grabby Hands). We quickly learned we need to stick to places where we’re in and out in under 30 minutes haha!
Then we headed down to Beale Street. Owen was so impressed the street was shut down.
Just a shot down Main Street
After Beale Street we headed down to the big bridge to Mud Island
Stay tuned for our trip down the Mississippi River!
Ahhhhh! Love the pictures.....such a beautiful family and what wonderful memories to look back on. Love, Nona
