It’s a…

GIRL!!!!

US415_bow

Well unbeknownst to most people, we decided to go a different route this time and find out the gender of Baby #2 at our ultrasound.  We decided to keep it a secret and use it as part of our Mother’s and Father’s day presents.  Since Nona and Papa were in town, we went with something different than what we had originally planned.

It started with a Mother’s/Father’s Day dinner the night before they left to go back to Ohio.  My accomplice, Staci, had one of her friends make this AMAZING cake and brought it to dinner.  (Sorry it’s so dark in the restaurant)

Now Mimi and Grumpy found out right before Mother’s Day, and we sent them these super cute Egg Announcements!

Here is the outside of the box, and one had a pink tag that said Mimi and the other had a blue tag that said Grumpy.

This is right when you open the box.  Each note was personalized with either Happy Mother’s Day Mimi or Happy Father’s Day Grumpy

And this is what you saw when it was cracked open!

Mimi got pink rose petals and Grumpy got pink baby feet!

Now onto the awesome video… we recorded our Skype call when they opened it.

We are obviously excited to share our joy in finding out we have a Baby Girl coming at the end of the summer!  Name suggestions are welcomed!

  1. Soooooo excited! Can't wait for September, to hold our new "little Princess". Owen will be such a great Big Bro and Mom's little helper.
Love & Congratulations. Nona & Papa
