Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there!
He will rarely wear his sunglasses, but he actually stuck them on for a few minutes this day.

We went to Kids Play on this rainy Friday. Owen was mostly interested in the blower fans. Here’s the proof.

Daily Tidbits from the Week:
- Owen told me skeleton rhymes with gelatin
- He has started asking us questions that he wants us to ask him. For example he’ll look at me and say, “Owen, do you want to go outside?” and he’ll repeat and repeat until I ask him. Then he’ll say, “Yes please!”
- He is still reciting books all the time. If he hears the word “grew” he’ll immediately start into: “grew and grew until the ceiling hung with vines and the walls became the world all around him. And an ocean rolled by with a private boat for Max and he sailed for over a year…” (Can you tell he loves Where the Wild Things Are?) Another good example is we’ll read Hello Baby (a book about having a baby sister), and he’ll literally just start reciting two to three pages at a time! His favorite part to “read” is, “After two days Mommy and Eliza came home. The house was filled with flowers and presents. Right away Eliza was hungry. She sounded like a cat when she cried. Mommy nursed her in the rocking chair. Mommy’s breasts make milk which is the perfect food for a baby. Soon Eliza became sleepy…” then he goes on and on for the next two pages. I can’t type it because I don’t remember what the words are! haha
- Owen said he wants to have three cats. Then he said he also wants two dogs. I just laughed
- He was peeing outside and was practically shooting it in his face. He looked at me and laughed and said his “fountain was really high”!
