We’ve been reading a lot of Independence Day books: Fourth of July Mice, The Story of America’s Birthday, The Story of the Star Spangled Banner, and F is for Flag! So some book related crafts were in order!
Early in the week, we made fireworks with pompoms and pipe cleaners:
Then we used our fingers!!
Later in the week, we made our very own flag since O loves gluing!
While Dad was working on a new book shelf for O, we did some colored ice painting!
Lastly, we upped the ante from last years red, white, and blue water bead bin and moved to the water table with lots of scoops and buckets!
I think it was the most he’s played with the water table all summer!
